WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR
Chris first entered the competition in 1985 and has maintained a close association with it every year since. Throughout the late eighties and early nineties he was a multiple category winner, once winning both first and second in the same category. He was then asked to join the judging panel and subsequently twice chaired the judging.
Chris has also presented the prizes on five occasions to widespread acclaim, especially from the photographers who enjoy his personal response to their work.
All of this has precluded his entering of course but after a respectful interregnum he has begun submitting again. In 2008 eight of his nine entries reached the finals but none were placed. He has never won it overall and it remains his greatest ambition to do so.
